Dear little friends
From twentieth century
Then so young and so
Full of potentialities
You were born in Paris,
in Berlin or in Warsaw
Some of you from wealthy areas
Some other from the ghetto
You were babies, you were little girls
Many a little boy with big smiles
Innocent kids in an awful world
A world gone mad and mean and ignorant
Which was to destroy your destiny
Taking your families away from you
A world which killed anyone who was jew
with no hesitation
Dear little friends
from twentieth century
I swear that you'll never
fade away in our memories
Be the world aware of your wisdom for ever
